Daily Express Media Review

The Daily Express is published by Northern & Shell.  It describes itself as “believing in traditional values”.  Circulation is 437,553. With a readership just topping the million, 1,030,000.

Express-SatMag-CoverReadership perhaps reflects it’s traditional values.  It is older, making it ideal to target a mid market older audience. 69% of the Express’s readership is over 55. And 53% is over 65.

It has a substantial ABC1 readership of 54%, but its core is in the C1C2 sector with 56%.

Sections include City & Business, Express Yourself and .  The Saturday title includes Garden, Motor and Travel.   Not forgetting Sport and Business of course.  It provides an excellent response advertising environment.

And supplements include the Saturday Magazine again an excellent response medium particularly in women’s fashion.

The Sunday Express is an option too. Slightly lower circulation at 385,365. It also has a good mail order section and a stylish glossy magazine in “S”.
