The Daily Telegraph is upmarket. Of its 1,192,000 readers, 86% are ABC1. It is older too with 55% of readers over 65 and 74% over 55.
The Telegraph is ideal for response campaigns targeting an upmarket audience. Particularly relevant for Off the Page advertising in the fashion market and for products for an elderly audience. The Weekend supplement includes a “mobility” section.
Saturday readership increases dramatically to 1,608,000 with a circulation of 664,757. The Telegraph does of course carry inserts, which can be highly effective.
Sections include Weekend and Gardening – both particularly good for direct response – as well as Property, Review, Sport, Travel and Your Money. And of course it has the Saturday Magazine.
