ABC have recently confirmed Saturday circulation figures for the national press. So now there are Monday – Friday averages with Saturday comparisons.  And Saturday proves to be an exceptional sales day for most titles.  The Guardian sells 377,000 copies on a Saturday, versus an average of 178,000 on a weekday.  The Daily Telegraph on Saturday sells 760,956, on a Monday to Friday 519,319. That is an increase of 46.5%

  • Daily Telegraph – up 46.5%
  • Guardian – up 112%
  • Times – up 38.2%
  • Independent – up 30.8%
  • Daily Mail – up 54.0
  • Daily Express – up 21.9%
  • Daily Mirror – up 30.4%
  • Daily Star – down -0.9%
  • Sun – up 20.0%
