National press data for circulations divides out between weekday, Saturday and Sunday. You might be surprised just how much it increases on a Saturday.
Figures for the Daily Mail show circulation going up from 1,199,764 to 1,802,614 that’s a 50% increase.
The Guardian goes up over 80% from 134,567 to 246,911.
And the Daily Mirror up 22% or 113,328 copies to 613,145.
No wonder off the page advertising concentrates on Saturday first.
