TV Listings magazine circulations for the period July-December 2012 are just in. The sector is selling an average of 4,380,822 copies a week – down -4.5% year on year. Bauer’s TV Choice, although down in circulation, still remains the number one title in the sector with a hefty 1,230,076 copies. Rival What’s on TV is close behind with 1,222,242 copies which sees it increases its sales marginally by 0.3% period on period.
Radio Times, a mainstay of many response campaigns, comes in 3rd 893,512. It posted a strong 3.2% increase period on period.
Several of the UK’s big publisher groups are represented with Bauer having TV Choice and Total TV Guide; IPC, What’s on TV,TV TImes, TV & Satellite Week, TV Easy and Soaplife; Immediate (formerly BBC) with Radio Times; and Hearst with more specialist titles Inside Soap and All About Soap.
